The International Women’s Writing Guild
Writing From Your Life Retreat

The International Women’s Writing Guild (IWWG) will host a 2nd Annual Boston area regional day-long writing retreat featuring three outstanding IWWG instructors on May 6, 2017. This Writing From Your Life Retreat offers new and experienced writers insights into writing autobiographically, as well an opportunity for professional networking, a book fair, and enrichment of your creative life and writing community. The retreat will be held in the center of Medfield at The Montrose School, 29 North Street, Medfield, MA from 9:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.

The IWWG faculty members and their workshops include: Sherborn based author Kelly DuMar, presenting Writing Truth & Beauty – Creative Writing From Personal Photos; Geneva, Switzerland based author Susan Tiberghien, presenting Writing from Journaling to Memoir; and California based author and Pacifica Graduate Institute faculty member, Maureen Murdock, on Memoir as Contemporary Myth.

The mission of the non-profit IWWG is to foster the personal and professional empowerment of women through writing. Over the Guild’s 40-year history, the kind of unique support offered to women by the Guild has birthed many writers and resulted in the publication of more than 4,000 books. Expanding programs of regional conferences and start-up writing groups offer our members the support and feedback necessary to hone their writing craft and to offer ongoing professional networking and guidance to women writers across the globe.

The cost of the retreat is $95 for IWWG Members; $120 for non-members; $45 for students with ID; and there is a new member special of $135 (includes $55 Annual IWWG membership dues). Registration fee includes lunch. To learn more about the workshops and to register online, go to iwwg.org/events.
